Autumn/Halloween Pet Safety Tips

It's fun to include our pets on all the fall activities! Here are some tips to be sure your pets stay safe!

• Be sure any costumes fit well, and do not impair your pets movements, vision, breathing

• Keep human treats out of reach of your pet! this includes the wrappers

• Some pets may be frightened by trick or treaters and decorations if they seem nervous leave them home and keep them in a safe place when little goblins are at your door.

• Make sure you have current ID on your pet.

• Halloween is a good time to keep indoor/outdoor cats safe inside

• Glow sticks, some plants, and decorations can be a poisonous or choking hazard.

• Candles should be monitored constantly to prevent getting knocked over and starting a fire
