About Us

Meet Karen.  Karen started here at CVH in 2022 after moving here from Western New York.  She has been in the Veterinary field for over 40 years and has worked in both large and small practices, but really enjoys the variety of animals she gets to see and love on in our mixed animal hospital.  In her spare time, Karen is a preservation breeder who shows her Great Danes in AKC conformation and performance.   She also loves to see her children and grandchildren who live out of state whenever possible.

Meet Jessie.  Many of our long-time clients are sure to have seen Jessie here, as she has been a wonderful part of CVH for over 11 years!  Her calm & sweet presence and compassion is a blessing to all the patients here.   Jessie started here like many of the others as a receptionist after working as a kennel girl at a vet in BG.  She is now married with two adorable little girls and is the Lead Vet Assistant here at CVH.    Besides her husband and children, Jessie has 2 dogs Titan & Smokey, and 4 cats.  Jessie also enjoys kayaking in her "spare time".

Meet Katie.  Katie has returned to CVH after originally working here for 5 years.  She is married with 3 kids and has loved animals since she was 3.  Katie has many animals at home including, dogs, goats, and lizards!

Katie also enjoys trips to the zoo or aquarium.

Meet Cori - I have been at Cornerstone since 2018, where I have worked in various rolls here.  I am currently a Vet Assistant and studying to be a LVT.  When not at work I like to spend my time with My husband, daughter, & son, and my 8 dogs Zeus, Loki, Leia, Roscoe, Lulu, Dixie, Maverick, & Baxter, and my 3 cats (Tortellini, Spooky, & Grim.

Meet Sophia - Hi, I'm Sophia!  I've been a Veterinary Assistant at CVH for since 2025 and will celebrate my one year anniversary this October.  I have always had a love for animals, and I truly enjoy being able to care for them and help their families every day.  ​

When not at work, you can usually find me barrel racing, spending time with my fiancé Carson, or hanging out with my six dogs, Latigo, Lucy, Hades, Opie, Darla, and Banks, and of course my farm animals.  Animals are a huge part of my career and life, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Meet Taylor - Taylor joined CVH in 2025 for her love of animals! When not helping our patients, she enjoys traveling, hunting, being at the lake with her family and friends, and working with her dog!​​​​

Meet Courtney - Courtney joined us in February 2026.  Previously, she was in the veterinary field for 5 years in Arizona.  "I take pride in providing friendly, caring, service while making sure every client and pet feels welcome.  Working at CVH allows me to combine my love for animals and passion for helping others."  In her spare time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and 3 pugs, chihuahua, her kitties, and chickens!

Meet Brianna- Hello there, my name is Brianna Flores. I have worked here at Cornerstone since July Of 2024. My job includes intaking phone calls, checking people in and out of appointments, scheduling appointments, and so much more. I love getting to meet new people and animals every day as well as building relationships with long term clients. But at the end of every work day I have my own furry, feathered, and human companions to come home to. I am a soon to be mother of 2 with an amazing husband to help me raise them. I also have 2 dogs of my own as well as 6 chickens with plans to add more. One of mine and my son's favorite things to do is go out to the coop to gather eggs. Between all the excitement at work and at home there is never a dull moment, and I wouldn't have it any other way.  Brianna is also currently cross training as a Vet Assistant!
